Tim again, I’m going to tell you what I discovered about how to solve my yellow toenails issue. First though I want to thank you for following along with the other posts and hangin in there till I got this one up.
As you already know I developed some yellow toenails over the cooler months and did a bunch of learning about toenail fungus, Onychomycosis, the fungi group called the dermatophytes, symptoms of nail fungus, causes of nail fungus and the like.
Well, just to prove I’m a normal guy and to conform to the regular guy ways of doing things…even after figuring out what was wrong with my toenails and why the nails were discolored, I again true to guy form, did nothing!
Well what ended up happening was that my funky discolored nails started getting brittle and sort of flaking away at the edges. They were also sort of getting thick on some toes. I was going to post a picture but decided it was too nasty. After all I wanted to avoid having my toenails seen. How stupid is this, I kept thinking that I wish that I had black toenails instead of yellow because then I could tell people that I dropped something on my feet and bruised my toes.
After it got so bad and I remembered that toenail fungal infections can develop into or cause other issues I decided to finally do something about it.
To make matters worse in my aversion to getting help for my nail fungus, I also don’t like to use harsh chemicals or a lot of unnatural substances….I just don’t trust them to be safe. Luckily however I did find this product called Claripro which is a homeopathic two fold approach to how to treat nail fungus.
First you use the all natural oils which penetrates your infected yellow toenails to get at the fungus hiding under them and kill it. Secondly you also use an oral spray, to spray under your tongue so the homeopathic ingredients get absorbed into your bloodstream as quickly as possible.
The people that make Claripro Nail Fungus Treatment believe in it so much that they also give you a 14 day risk free trial and a money back guarantee. So if you want to be able to go barefoot or if you’re like me just want to be able to wear your flip flops without worrying about people getting grossed out by your funky yellow toenails you might want to at least look at this product.
Hey there Tim again,

Cure Yellow Toenails
What I found out about my discolored toenails was that I should have noticed the signs of a nail fungus sooner. Toenail fungus is called Onychomycosis and here are some quick signs that you might have it:
If you notice any of these signs don’t do like I did and just think whatever it is will just go away in time. Once you have a nail fungal infection it doesn’t just go away. It can keep going on forever unless you get some sort of toe fungus treatment.
If you don’t treat your toenail fungus you might discover that it can become painful and worse it can permanently mess up your toenails.
After I learned all of this I wanted to know what cause my problem in the first place. Turns out that molds and yeast can cause toe nail fungus infection problems. Usually though it is caused by a group of fungi called dermatophytes.
This nail fungi lives best in warm, moist, and dark places, yup you guessed it, just like in your shoes!
For some weird reason toenail infections happen to guys more than women. I didn’t learn why this is, but sufficed to say those are the stats that I read.
Now if you do decide not to do anything about your funky nails, there is something that you should at least take into consideration. Nail fungal infections can in some instances spread past your feet.
One of the scariest things I discovered was that if your nail infection becomes too severe you might have to have your toenails surgically removed. I don’t know about you but that just makes me cringe. I know what it feels like to get something jammed up under my nail by accident so I can’t even imagine what removing a toe or fingernail would feel like. All I do know is that I didn’t want to go through it.
Obviously I took care of my yellow toenails by using medication. I’ll tell you what I did in the next post.

Cure Yellow Toenails
I don’t know about you but when I got closer to 40 I started to get yellow toenails. I also had this weird thing happening with my thumbnail. I thought it was really strange because I thought that only smokers had yellow toenails or discolored fingernails.
It really didn’t seem to be a huge issue until the weather started getting warmer, because I like to wear flip-flops in the summer. After I put them on the first day my lady friend was grossed out by my nasty looking toenails. Of course then I started to get paranoid about my funky thumbnail and soon I was embarrassed to show my hands or feet.
I didn’t want to wear confining shoes all summer to hide my nails and I didn’t want to wear socks with sandals either, believe me I didn’t want to be that guy.
Anyway what I found out from my sister is that it is not uncommon to develop a toenail fungus or a fingernail fungus and that one of the signs could be a black toenail or in my case a yellow toenails. She also told me that it really isn’t a huge deal because there are simple toe fungus treatments that I can buy.
Well I’m a bit short on time right now so I will come back and post a bit more about what I found out and what I did about my nasty nails.
